What it is

The T7 Shield is the hard-wearing version of Samsung's T7 portable SSD. Samsung lists it as USB 3.2 Gen 2 with read speeds up to 1,050 MB/s and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. That rating covers splashes and dust ingress; it does not mean the drive can be submerged or treated as indestructible. This entry is the 1TB black model.
